Cameron Jace : Kindle

Im going to start by saying this is the first time in years where I have been reading a series of books and love them to the point where I cant put the book/kindle down, to which I have to add I wouldn’t have came across if I didn’t have the kindle. The seires is as gripping as my Harry Potter days where waiting for the next book would seem like a life time, but when it turned up you were hooked again and brought back into the story you found yourself craving madley.

The prequels which I came across first about 3 weeks ago starts with the adaption of the snow white classic version and how it is all lies told by the Brothers Grimm. At first I was a bit dubious and thought oh no I have purchased a gothic vampire series where the author has just gone boom all fairy tale charaters are vampires; but to my surprise the further I read into the short stories the more the author makes connections with history and different versions of the fiary tales we all love and remember. Most of the stories are given a fixed date so the reader can put the character in a time frame and add to their own imagination. You start to route for certian characters without realising and start fearing for them when things take a nasty fairy tale style turn; but they all lead towards the the main series which Jace is writing starting with Snow White in ‘Snow White Sorrow’.

Jace leads you along many different paths and when you think you know what is going on, or a scene is over and complete you find yourself wrong because there is another cliff hanger. I will no tbe givnig anything away because that is a spoiler. I just can not wiat to read the next one and find out what happens next. even though I know he will keep us hanging and build on the suspense to which even though I complain I dont like becuas eof the wait. I absolutely love it!

Now I don’t now what to read next……its very tempting to possible start the journey of Harry Potter from start to finish without a pause of waiting for a book release. but as any avid read knows as soon as you start a series you enjoy nothing will come in your way until the last word is read………
